Howdy!

After a break of not developing I decided to get back into developing STARRUNE. But first I wanna talk MIDI stuff.


Basically. I used MIDI's that helped with melodies from DELTARUNE, KIRBY etc.

Unfortunately I sorta forgot to credit all of that. But considering that their hard work made my music production easier I do plan to like... credit them (Here and then in the next official update already included):

Next up

I now created a few GIFs and updated the game page to hopefully be a bit more interesting to players looking it up.

The GIF's do only have 10FPS, but honestly, I find it sorta charming.

I dressed Ramb (Deltarune) up as Annabelle, the main boss of "Loving Genesis".

In making my "Ramb boss take" not Ramb, I truly did copy the "Outsider Ramb" thing. Treating Annabelle more like how Ramb in game.

Reduces the game's appeal, unfortunately.

I added in an NPC to the Hive area who complains about the ladybug dodging challenge. A challenge that expects you to no hit attacks that heavily rely on RNG, a not so popular addition. Share your pain with a cameo NPC!

I now replaced the Screenshots to be up to date and more interesting.

It isn't fully complete yet, but the protagonist, Shilka, is now playable and has battle sprites (although limited as her options are limited to acts and items, weapons being items you use instead of equip.)

Happy Halloween! For the occasion I tried to make a sprite of Kris cosplaying as Amitie from Puyo Puyo. I changed the color palette slightly to be more fitting for Dark World Kris with their blue skin and all.

Started working on another "Small standalone fangame that maybe appears within Starrune as bonus content which semi-expands the world as it is a game in game."

This time a remake of an obscure SEGA text adventure spinoff, what fun!

I drew the painting the protagonist wants to steal, the original is called "Opa opa" so I included "Opa Opa", an old SEGA mascot.

Otherwise this piece depicts the fields of hopes and dreams from DELTARUNE, similar to it's piece of concept art.
