#HowIFoundFNaF

I discovered FNAF from my friends and classmates at primary school, we would always roleplay FNAF irl (phones wheren't allowed) where one person pretended to be the night guard and others would be the animatronics. Best school experience.

STORY TIME:

When I was in 2nd grade at school recess (2014), my classmate tried to introduce me to FNAF, where he wanted to roleplay the game irl with me (phones wheren't allowed so everyone would just try to replicate a videogame experience on the playground lol), and since I didn't know what the game was at the time he told me what where the animatronics, the night guard, the objective and etc.

He was the night guard and I was foxy (he simply told that there was a "robot pirate fox" so I went with it XD)

I still didn't discover the actual game until a year later (I think), where my friends and other classmates encouraged me to roleplay the game with them and after that I asked my dad to download FNAF 1 on the PC (I think it was the Demo version first)

I really got into it and one of my classmates even told me and my friends some of the FNAF lore.

I also introduced FNAF to my best friend, we where playing together and we fell off the chair after a jumpscare (I asked my friend about this since I forgot most stuff not sure if my friend also remembers these memories accuratelly).

Another mini comic!

These comics will be more of a "guide" to play the game rather than an actually story driven webcomic, but only for now as I want to start with simpler stuff.

My first shot at a webcomic! Starting simple and small.

Level title cards!

When you start a level, you are met with a title card instead of being teleported to the level right away.

For now it only says the name of the level, but I'm planning to add more stuff like indicating if you collected the medal there

I love ripping off very old game franchises from character to game mechanics without even knowing their existence

Just compare Koppy to this character ("Sparkster" I think) and the game mechanics in both games...

Yeah I'm def getting sued LOL

I put the new feature to the test, and it plays horrendous

So I might only apply this new mechanic to only specific enemies in specific areas or a specific object just for this.

But I'll give another shot at making this play better, otherwise...

New update & Game's ROM now avaliable to download!

- Added title cards & bug fixes.

You can now download the ROM file of the game and play it locally through an emulator!

Lunch break!

#Devruary (day 19):

I always get burnt out when I spend too long trying to fix one issue/bug knowing that I got many more to fix, so I usually just work on smaller stuff in the game and later come back to that big issue (also motivation).

How my game felt when I revisited its old versions: (Drew this with my right hand)

#Devruary Feedback on gameplay always comes first! It's helpful to make sure that your game is playable at all and to even tweak some elements to make it play even better.

Experimenting with something!

Instead of just jumping above enemies and killing them instantly, you simply get above them and you get to pick how you want to use them (jump or jump higher basically)

I will take a while working in this idea though...

"Spiraling fox"

spiral, swirl, whatever same thing

Procreate brush used: "Scallop"
