The PSP version plays way faster than the PSX version in a good sense and it even has its own fast forward (Hold Circle)+

One thing that I don't like too much about this is how the battle animations don't feel as cinematic without the slow buildup and SFX the PS1 version does have.,., but you know it's not as important for someone that only wants to play it (not me for sure i love the game)

also yeah going through the city is Way easier in here because aside from being quickier it's also remade so you donf have to stop Each time to look at the map and know where you are going (although the PSX map IS a complete one whereas the PSP map is splitted by parts) but yeah That's about it., much quickier
