I'm friends with lots of different people: people of the lgbtq+ community, muslims, fellow catholics (Latin Mass and Novus Ordo [yes, we argue about the language of our masses]), and just regular people.
Heck.
I am good friends with my neighbor who is a lesbian.
This may seem crazy, but people can disagree and still exist and be nice to each other.
The fact that some people are so mean to these people who haven't done anything to hurt anyone, AND ask them why they make such a big deal about it, is honestly the rudest thing ever.
I would be hurt if someone were mean to me because I love God and want to do what he tells me, even if you think I'm wrong. I would rather focus on being friendly than being right or making debates where there don't need to be any.
So please... just be kind.
