So after recently getting addicted to Dying Light 2, playing Prey (2017) and considering Mirror's Edge (replaying the first and considering the sequel), I created yet another sub branch of Run-from-stuff called Run-from-stuff: Gaiden (or side story). Basically games that tick most of the boxes for a Run-from-stuff where you of course run from stuff but do a bunch of other action stuff as well though unfortunately these are mostly the only examples that fit into that which is kind of a bummer because honestly it's a really fun thing to explore especially with how much I love Run-from-stuff as a whole.
