Hi everyone!
During the past months, we’ve been working very hard on MindSeize, focusing on bringing new planets to life. We haven’t forgotten about the pre-alpha demo, though. The demo has just been updated with a number of new mechanics and updates, as well as new animations for the main character. The update also changes the design of some rooms based on feedback.
The patch contains the following:
-Updated most of the basic movement animations
-Changed the level design in multiple rooms
-Added one new powerup and changed location of some secrets
-Added healthbars and damage numbers for enemies
-Added damage animation and stagger to the player
-Smoothened the camera, there’s still updates planned for it
-Updated wall jumping, there’s still planned improvements for later
-Changed the rifle to shoot in short bursts
-Save points, switches and elevators are now activated with a button
-Using switches to open a door shows the door opening and marks the spot on map
-Numerous balance changes and bug fixes
-Probably also something I’m forgetting right now
