Hello everyone!

Last week we teased you with a screenshot of our website and showed you a WIP GIF from the gameplay trailer. Now we’d like to present to you the final versions of both projects!

You might wonder: “Why is this important? Every game has a trailer and/or a website. Why making such big of a deal of it and writing about it for several weeks?”

From the point of view of a game developer, these are the assets that will be used during the next several months to introduce a game to a new audience. Imagine you’ve spent months of work on a project, and when it comes to an end, you don’t have the means to show it to people for whom it was designed - and its release goes unnoticed. The website and the trailer will be our words to tell a story of Will and his quest to save lives on the Suicide Bridge.

With the help of the website and the trailer, we will be able to reach potential players and present to them Wait! Life is Beautiful! in a concise manner. That’s why finishing the trailer and the website is such an important milestone for us – we will need these assets later.

We decided to tell more about it to you, a person who regularly checks up on our progress every Friday ;)

Next week we will go more in-depth and prepare a special article providing insight into the development.

Thank you for being with us,
Your W!LIB! Team!

Wait! Life is Beautiful! is released! A message from the developer is attached to the post. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the payment via GameJolt, so the release here will happen later, but we are already out on Steam with a 10% discount!

The more people that Will helps, the more his psyche will gradually suffer. This will gradually manifest itself as vivid dreams. Here is the first one, what do you think is going on here?

We're working on a new animated trailer for #WLIB. It takes extra time to get everything correct, from the animation to the text - and for a game like ours - the text is one of the most challenging parts! #GIF #WIPwednesday #IndieGame #MadeWithUnity

The #BadArtChallenge is over and we're highlighting some of our faves!

You made such incredible bad art that we couldn't just give one of you a trophy.

The artists are tagged below

Do you remember the dream that we shared last Saturday? This dream is a direct reflection of Will's struggles to save the people on the bridge. In the dream, he has to catch people as they fall from the bridge, just like he tries to do during the day.

@MewMarissa is a Jolter to Watch and and a game developer who takes pride in attention to detail and producing quality work! Follow @MewMarissa before the quest ends on April 8 and you'll get Coins!

One of the characters that you will eventually encounter in #WLIB is the Puppet Man. He doesn't know anymore if he's a human or a puppet. Most importantly, he doesn't like kids. He never did. #ScreenshotSaturday #PixelArt

Did you know that we're on several platforms? You can also find #WLIB on Steam and Itch io! Are there any platforms that we've missed that you'd like to see us on? #IndieGame #IndieDev #PixelArt #SuicidePrevention

This week's Fan Art Friday celebrates Minecraft! Accept the quest in your quest log to get started.

We are making an interactive psychological thriller about suicides with a touch of black humor. The main hero decided to quit his meaningless job and start saving lives on the Suicide Bridge!
