when i started (i started drawing when i was 4, and i got more serious at my art career at 7) i asked an older schoolmate of mine who's amazing at drawing, she replied with "practice"
and i was internally like "but where should i start?" but i just thanked her and walked away.
my mom wanted me to start using a more realistic art style instead of a cartoony one, but i dont wanna lose my current art style
my mom would say "then just switch from realistic to cartoony from time to time"
but my hands can only handle one art style
i tried handling a cartoon style and an anime style before, but i got confused as fuck.
when i was a child i always had these drawing activity books where they ask you to draw something and theres like an empty space next to it and had grids on it
and it turned into a disaster for me.
they say "dont draw cartoons, anime, fanarts, comics and shit"
BUT LITERALLY FANART IS THE THING THAT GOT ME INTO DRAWING-
i draw memes to just get my comedy out of me because no one likes my jokes so i just show it to myself
comics are the only thing i do to really just vomit my creativity to tell stories and shit properly
i loved anime culture and i dreamed to draw as pretty as that (NO NOT FOR HENTAI-). but my mom doesnt like anime. my dad supported me for drawing anime once because he's kinda an otaku.
