I gotta say, I really like this. I like the whole old-school cartoon aesthetic, and while I wouldn't necessarily call it scary, it's definitely eerie and creepy, and that's fine for me, although after spending a bit of time walking around it kinda lost any intimidation it had. All I'll say is that I hope the puzzles in the future are a bit more complex than just finding stuff and that the atmosphere is a bit more tense and frightening.
