In the next update there will be an option to switch VSync on or off and the possibility to edit the intensity of the fake scanlines.

I added several game modes to the game.  

Normal mode (unlimited lives), Hard mode (only 5 lives).  

Speed Mode (Faster Gameplay), Super Speed (a lot faster Gameplay only for masochists)
