I’ve been meaning to create a page for this game (A proper page) for a while. I first published this game in 2015. It was made in AGK suing basic. Since then I’be been working on the RTAG rise project and now that’s that has reached a point where I we need to flesh out the script, I decided to resume working on Dream Temple - this time in C++. It’s a great excuse and reason to learn C++ and Visual Studio considering that Unreal Engines coding is based on C++. I’d also like to move away from using Blueprints for game logic as there are quite a few games in store with some complex logic that would be a nightmare to develop using all blueprints. So far so good. I ported the project from Basic to C++ (which wasn’t all that difficult when I think about it now, just time consuming) and now I’m ready to explore what AGK has got in store.
First of all, since I touched AGK it has gotten a few nifty features. One of which is Built In shadows and another is VR! I would have never believed AGK supported VR had the devs (TGC - The Game Creators) not posted a video on it. Very intriguing, especially in light of what this game is about.
Another appeal for me to resume working on this game is the reason to write music music in the style I don’t get to write too often now-days.

With all the projects I’ve started, game and music wise, I haven’t had an excuse to revisit the styles and genres of music I used to explore, there’s always some sort of project behind the music, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
