I didn't like the whole Granny/Grandma concept that has been really popular lately, but your game pretty much changed my mind! :P
The old school looks and the low resolution is adding so much to the game's atmosphere! It is crude, so you realize it isn't real, but then again there is something unsettling in its presentation.
The gameplay is a lot better than most of the other indie horror games out there. Even though limited (find a couple of keys etc) the way the player can progress is not that linear. You can get only a single key and escape. But you still have the choice to explore more.
There is something to this whole recipe that makes the game feel smooth even though it takes place in a house. The random events help even further. The first time I heard the water running as soon as I got out of the bathroom, I got really creeped out. I totally enjoy a game building anticipation and not relying on jumpscares to scare the player. On top of that each time you die you wake up in your room in a PT fashion. You don't lose your items (except the keys) and that makes it seamless.
The sound effects are subtle yet unsettling. Especially the background rain sound effect. It just makes the player feel uneasy.
Overall, I totally enjoyed it!! I hope you keep working on it, since t has potential to be a really solid horror game. Keep up the good work!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
