I’ve been working on a cutscene, because the game lacked any of them, and they are pretty common in most modern video games.
How I made it:
It was a pretty simple process really, but too all you GameMaker Studio programmers out there, I didn’t make the cutscene the way you’d normally expect. First off, I didn’t use alarms. That may come as a suprise to you, but I’ll explain.
I don’t know how to use them.
Instead of alarms I used a counter variable, that would increase every frame of the game, and when it reached a certain point, it would run a certain script.
Not the best way of going about things, but it was the simplest for me.
