Everything we know about this game already is so promising, the minds behind it especially.

The lead devs said that when Toys for Bob pitched to Microsoft about going indie, they immediately pitched a new Spyro game alongside it. They had been PINING to work on one for years and clearly knew the fans wanted one, but were gated by Activision from making it.

Spyro was the reason they took that leap of faith, and I am so grateful.

The fact they clarified that they see a clear boundary between Midlanders and Spyro and don't ever want to blur the line between the two is reassuring, the fact they mentioned GEMS BEING COLLECTABLE was reassuring.

The only thing I am not excited for is that Stewart Copeland won't be returning for the soundtrack, but that just gives me and my friends an opportunity to do it ourselves; carry the torch, as it were - we basically trained for this 💖

I have waited 8 long years for a new breath of life from this series, and the wait was worth it.
