Hello, Fangame developers! I'm Mag ;)
Hello, Five Nights at Freddy's fan game developers! I'm Mag!!!
Today I'm here to revive a very special initiative for me: Your Project.
I created it three years ago with the goal of highlighting the talent and creativity of those who are keeping the legacy of Five Nights at Freddy's alive through the community.
And now that the channel's official server has reached 500 members, I want to give something back.
I want to help you make your fangame reach further.
About me
If you don't know me, let me introduce myself quickly!
I'm Mag Freddy's, a YouTuber dedicated (mostly) to Five Nights at Freddy's content. I currently have 51,400 subscribers. I've previously worked on an initiative on the channel, and I've also been in contact with people from the official FNaF community, and I'm currently planning collaborations with these types of people in the future.
What is Your Project Innitiative?
This is an initiative to support, highlight, and document fan games developed by fans like you! To give them a better view within the community at large through a video and general promotion on my YouTube channel, I'm looking to give them the spotlight they deserve.
To restart this initiative, I'm looking for five fangames to be part of the second part so I can properly address them to further boost the project.
I want to help more people know your work, play it... and appreciate it.
How to participate?
Get verified and go to the #submissions-your-project-2 channel
In the channel, post: The name of the fangame, a link to your Itch.io or GameJolt page, your social media accounts, and a brief description of your fangame.
Wait for the winners to be announced in the server's #announcements channel.
I'll contact you to make things happen.
What You’ll Get If You win?
A video dedicated entirely to your fangame (minimum 1,000 views guaranteed!).
A personalized interview (which will be used as a feature within the video).
Ongoing promotion: I'll share news and updates about your fangame.
Requirements:
Have a page on Itch.io or Game Jolt.
Have at least teasers or significant previews of the fangame.
The game page must have a description of the game so I can get a good idea of your project.
The lead developer must have a social media account.
It can't contain NSFW or explicit content (FNAF-style deaths are fine, but don't go too far into the extremely explicit, like gore).
Be cautious and respectful when discussing sensitive topics (although preferably not).
Maintain a relatively decent quality (clearly, I'm not asking for a triple-A fangame, but I'm also not looking for something that looks like a PowerPoint presentation).
Duration of the Event
This event will last approximately one month. I want to give all of you enough time so that, whether you're just starting out or have already completed part of your project, you can show the world what you're creating with such passion. This initiative isn't just a contest; it's an open door for those who dream big from their corner of the world.
How will the winners be announced?
The selected fangames will be announced first on the server, in the #announcements channel. Afterward, I'll contact you personally to invite you to a private group with other developers who are also struggling to bring their ideas to life.
Here, you'll not only have my support, but you'll also have the same opportunity to connect with people just as passionate as you.
Questions about the event?
If you have any questions about the event or just need to talk, you can write to me in the #questions-for-mag channel. I'm here not only as the organizer and creator of the initiative, but also as someone who believes in what you do.
A message for You!
You have no idea how happy it makes me to see this community grow, usually talking about mine and the Five Nights at Freddy's community. If you're reading this, thank you for continuing to create wonderful things to contribute to the community.
I want to tell you something very clearly: your project matters. Your effort, your sleepless nights, your crazy ideas, your enthusiasm... ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING counts.
This event was created so that voices like yours don't fall silent, so that your game doesn't get lost among thousands, so that someone believes in you if you feel like no one else does.
So... show us what you've got. I'll be here, excited, waiting to see your work, ready to help you shine! :)
