I cannot express how much I like this song but I think of / sing it every time that i'm cold and its 32 degrees outside and GOD IS IT COLD

he's saying that he's cold in a different sense, but, y'know, the theme is there, so have this awesome song

actual story of the song is that he wrote it after gaining inspiration from a letter than a fan sent him after he avoided her picture-taking multiple times at an event. her letter was "how can someone who writes such warm songs be so cold?"
