I don't think FNaF Plus is cancelled, like many people and news outlets are saying, and I'd like to explain to you why I think so, and why you should keep an open mind about the game.
1. The game is already done
It has been stated NUMEROUS times by Phisnom that the game is done/being very close to finished. It seems rather strange that they would just trash 4 years of work in an instant.
2. The game is meant to be sold
The game, obviously, is part of the Fazbear Fanverse, which allows the devs to SELL their games. If FNaF Plus was a personal project, it would make more sense for it to be flat-out cancelled...but this isn't a personal project; this isn't even really a fan game...this is a product that will be sold as a full-fledged game. It would be a pretty poor business choice to just flatline the game, considering it was being hyped as one of the big games people should be excited for.
3. Clickteam is competent enough to finish the game
Even if the game is not fully completed, Clickteam has more than enough resources to make sure the game gets finished. They have A) not only released their own games, but also B) have to hire people to port the other Fanverse games anyways; it seems more than likely that they could get someone with GameMaker knowledge to finish the rest.
Those are just my thoughts, though.
