Well, this is awkward. Let me start by saying that i won't quit or anything. I think i'll just be less active, maybe focusing more on Itch io instead of here. So, why is this happening? Well, since i want to lighten up the mood, i decided to present things in a "Phoenix Wright" way, if you get what i mean. Let's start with:

CLAIM N°1: The Moderation sucks

I think everyone here knows this, but i want to give some examples just to emphasize it.

This user was called Z_Fighter. I found him when he was asking ppl to submit OCs so that he could make them into characters in his game. I submit mine and he was happy to introduce it. We kept talking on DMs and i frequently asked how the game was going, since he didnt post once. One day, i was really curious about his game art, since i didnt see it in a while. You can imagine the shocks i got when i saw that he was banned. I had no idea what happened, but for one thing im sure: His game (GRYSTOL: Online) is completely lost. This game, that he worked on for years, was erased just with a click of a button. He was also a veteran jolter, with his account being created in 2015. Im truly sorry for him and i hope he is continuing developing his game in silence and that maybe he will return by creating a new account once he finishes.

This user was called Samara_x. I found her in one of the comments on a @HakimiNor post. She was really nice and she was a fellow sister in Islam, which is always good to see. Once again, the unbelievable happened, and she got banned for...reasons (Gamejolt should really put the reasons why a user got banned in these pages btw). She didn't do nothing wrong (as far as i know), but she still got banned. Wanna know an extra? While i was searching "samara" on Gamejolt, alongside finding Samara_X and Samara (The monster from "The Ring"), i also found...suggestive art of Samara The Monster, completely untouched by Gamejolt. What a surprise...

Obviously there are other examples, such as Licorice Cookie and Kareem (I cant ping them but if you knew them you know what im talking about), but i felt like these were the biggest letdowns from Gamejolt's moderation.

CLAIM N°2: Some People here are HORRIBLE

And im not just talking about racists, Homophobes that harass and things like that. I'm talking about serious DEATH THREATS for having an opinion.

This is @SaifHamed . He is a fellow brother in Islam that some months said (on a now deleted post) that he hated trans people. This was an error on his part and im not gonna try to say that he is right, but i expected people to just either ignore him or try to get an explaination from him. Wanna know what happened? They harassed him. ALOT. At the time i was in a GC with some ppl that i wasnt really friends with, and they were PLANNING what horrible stuff they could say to him. You can find it all on his shouts. He is been inactive ever since and i have the suspicion that he gave in and quit gamejolt. What a shame, really.

So yeah, that's that. As i said, im not gonna outright quit, but im not gonna be as active as i was before for these reasons and i hope Gamejolt fixes this stuff as soon as possible. Goodbye, for now.
