anymore music but tbh its probably for the best for all of them, they all have different visions of what they should do, especially serj and daron

the whole band told serj to tone down his political stances/lyrics, but he shouldn't really be told to change his writing style, so its good that he went solo instead of forcing himself to not write about what he's passionate about

in terms of serj's memoir, i think it probably was at least a little biased, you've got to think about that serj probably had a lot of old feelings stirred up while writing and that's completely fair to him, this book was probably more toned down than it could've been tbh, a lot of the things he's talking about happened a while ago now, but I don't doubt what he says about daron, hes proved to be adamant about what he wants/thinks (i.e, fighting with john, physically and verbally about ideology)

daron has a reputation to be hard to work with, hes a perfectionist and is probably hard to deal with, he's got a strong personality, john says him and daron used to fight all the time, he has a very "do this or I'll get angry attitude" about him, and it's probably frustrating for serj who has his own ideas about what he wants to do with their songs

serj called daron a "neurotic asshole", but apparently he said to the press that he's inspiring, not sure which one to believe but I don't think any of the band members hate each other, daron attended an event recently to do with serj's coffee company, and if they did truly hate each other personally, he definitely wouldn't be showing up lol

or maybe the man just loves coffee, not sure

anyway not sure why I wrote this I just wanted to write about it for fun
