I FINALLY managed to beat the RNG gods that cursed my Fire Emblem Awakening playthrough on Lunatic mode and complete the game.

While I’m pleased I managed it, it did also highlight that I will NEVER pick this game up again!

To clarify, while this is the game that got me into Fire Emblem generally, it is flawed as a tactical turn-based RPG on Lunatic mode (the enemy AI seems to be “charge at the player non-stop” regardless of where they are or if they are even in range, and there are very few static enemies). Short of creating Juggernauts out of Chrom and the Avatar, I don’t see how it’s possible to complete it.

I suspect that there are far better players out there that can do it, but I’m not going to invest the time or energy into doing so.

I received a commission on my Ko-fi for this cute little 1-bit robot sprite that they intend to use in their project.

Many thanks for the wonderful request.

After a slot became available in the Retro Redrawn project of Koholint Redrawn, I decided to step up and complete grid 2-8.

This is the end result and, I have to say, I’m really pleased with how this piece turned out.

I enjoyed the Cherry Blossom Torterra piece so much I decided to make more Pokemon variants. This is a Nepenthes-styled Victreebel, with a slight twist on the source of the tail vine.

This uses the Endesga32 palette, as did the previous piece.

Congratulations to our "Show Us Your Centum Art" winner, @JotaDev !

As part of a weekly challenge on one of the Discord groups I’m a part of, here’s a little happy Ghastling.

Someone in the Discord said (nicely) that the Ghastling looked a little smug and I can’t unsee it now! I quite like that effect.

This week's Fan Art Friday celebrates Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning! Accept the quest in your quest log to get started.

As I can’t share png and mov in the same post, here’s the timelapse for the Cherry Blossom Torterra I posted last week.

As part of my attempt in keeping better pixel art habits, I’m hoping to be able to keep these 64x64 pieces going for as long as possible (though not necessarily daily uploads).

A 2-bit demichrome space sim was what I chose to make this time. 🙂

Great news! 📢 @Aya_Games has joined Game Jolt!

I grant this isn’t a new idea (given the art I found when I looked), but I suddenly got the urge to pixel a cherry blossom variant of Torterra.

I’m really pleased with this piece as I’m not used to working with so many colours.
