so, my idea was that Guzma didn't want to be number 2 all the time so right before the events of the normal sun and moon/ultra-sun and ultra-moon he decides he's going to hypnotize all the citizens of Alola (and eventually the whole world) to become number 1 (and instead the education system is all about team skull) but Lusamine with the help of Lillie and Gladion evacuated people to Aether Paradise (but only managed to get a few and they lost a lot of workers because they we're hypnotized) the people who we're rescued are Professor Kukui, the protagonist (the same one as the normal games), some random people, Hau and some of the Kahuna's and Trial captains. Lusamine, who is not crazy in this universe, is trying to get the ultra-beasts so that they can go to a different universe where team skull isn't hypnotizing everyone and she successfully opens an ultra-wormhole however once she goes inside gen 2 Red, Lost Silver (he specifically has his Monochrome design) and some other creepypasta Pokémon fall out and all but Red and Lost Silver run away (there are creepypastas because why not and also the new Hypno's lullaby mod released recently also they surprisingly don't kill anyone) and it closes behind them Red and Lost Silver both get up and challenge the player and Hau to a battle (who had just gotten their starter Pokémon and also the protagonist maybe just got their creepy smile because seeing a creepypasta set it off) as Red and Lost Silver are confused (Red's team would be the team he fights you with in gen 2 and Lost Silver's team would be dead Typhlosion, cut in half Celebi like in the creepypasta and random Unknowns but instead of being black and white there black and red), after a losing to them Red and Lost Silver are told what happened and they can say what they we're up to before all this (except for Lost Silver who lies and says he was lying on a bed trying to sleep despite the lack of limbs) so the Aether Paradise employees set up some Rotom limbs for him to be more child friendly as there are children on Aether Paradise so the player has to go through different dimensions looking for Lusamine with Hau and probably the professor, Faba or Wicke. At some point in the story Guzma kills your starter but Lost Silver's Unknown revive it (you can also get one if you ask it will be in a special poke ball and if you have it in your party, it will automatically revive your starter) this gives the player a reason other than their mum been hypnotized and the grownups telling them to take down Guzma. As part of the story, you have to go to different dimensions to look for Lusamine and one of them (which is not at all story related it's just sort of there is Undertale (it's a reference to the many Undertale au's as well as Toby Fox creating some songs for Pokémon) if you talk to Sans, he can sell you special poke balls for catching the Creepypasta Pokémon which is part of the story (you have to send them home once you beat the game) but they are rare random encounters anywhere (you can only get them once) and some secret side quest missions and you can catch some of the Ruins monsters (which have different evolutions in the Undertale universe and in the normal Pokémon universe) the Undertale universe evolutions are the core or hard mode variants and the Pokémon universe evolution are new ones also at the end you have to fight Guzma (who has Necrozma which is fused with both Legendary's. At the end of the game 1 of 2 things can happen 1 you send everyone home with tearful goodbyes (including the creepypasta Pokémon you caught also you can do this at any time, so you don't have to catch all of the creepypastas beforehand) or Guzma wins and everyone (including you who either becomes a normal citizen or his battler/right hand person idk yet) are hypnotized and the whole world becomes Guzma's plus everyone becomes/aspires to become a part of team skull (also the nurse joy's and officer Jennys are given new uniforms to match team skull's uniform officer Jenny's are just for keeping everyone under Guzma's control (they will also hypnotize anyone who steps out of line)
