I hate that people have this incredibly common misconception, the face is actually in the game files was supposed to be a character known simply as "Gerald Glash" or "redPupil"

The face getting normal coloring is because of AnArt, mid-development, accidentally reverting the colors on Gerald Glash's/redPupil's texture file, giving him regular mickey colors. The only piece of his existence is a singular gif of his jumpscare
