“I HATE YOU”. The title of this horrendous game.

It’s now a ROM Hack, and it really gave me the shivers when I first played it. I played it on the Wii U’s “Wii Mode” (I hacked my console. I’m must be a genius.) Every detail from the creepypasta was successfully replicated into this particular hack, only with more disturbing surprises that made this game feel like it was ACTUALLY a Real Haunted Console game.

Everything in the creepypasta ties in with this hack.
The Boos are blind (but they flinch whenever Mario makes a sound), the bloody-eyed Bowser Cave takes the show (and Mario’s Expression changes, too), Banzai Bills are now “Bleeding Bills”… and I won’t spoil the other parts for you if you haven’t read the creepypasta

Anyways… since it’s a ROM Hack of the Original Super Mario World, it plays and controls like a normal mario game would. Although you can’t utilize much of your abilities (mostly because this game is based on a creepypasta), they do come in handy for the final segment of the game. No spoilers… but if you’ve read the end of the creepypasta, then you shouldn’t expect for the final segment to be easy.

Now with all this stuff out of the way, I’m giving this ROM Hack a rating of 9.8/10 for sticking to the source material, and making it slightly better than it’s creepypasta counterpart. It was a hassle to get through, but it was worth it to play it on a console. (And by the way, creepy sounds are audible enough in the console version, so you may hear a lot of beeping and… talking while the game is being emulated.)
