Maybe because Kris was screaming after they fought Spamton is because Kris knew what Spamton was saying about Kris breaking out Kris's strings, Kris knew what Spamton was talking about. Kris was being controlled by the player like a puppet. So Kris was probably trying to break the controller of the player so they can be free probably. I mean- Kris is the playable character but can't make decisions for themself soo.. Yeah.
