If you would like to play the game, then here is the link I provided: https://itch.io/jam/scratch-game-jam-03/rate/2014577
Here is an original Anime game I have created based on a sketch I did for New Years Eve. And I featured my own post to some communities because I want to try to inspire others to do some, you know, actual creativity based on the classics of the 90s instead of doing random, generic, uninspiring games like changing platformers with cube characters. I get this is 2023 and all, but I have realized is that the classic games are still great examples of nostalgia and they are IDEAL for the Scratch engine, despite its visual programming design.
I mean, just check out these pictures of classic games that I totally admire:
I’m just saying, these are not just platformers, they are great franchises. And I see these as great examples of creativity and I adept these inspirations to TurboWarp and Gandi IDE. I’m not saying that you should do the same, but I highly recommend looking at these great games filled with amazing pixel art and be inspired to take your creativity in the same path as they do. Because that’s exactly what I did with my game.
My game is a bit inspired by Mega Man and Contra, because unlike most of Scratch platformers, I added 2.5D level textures and I added the ability to learn spells after defeating a boss.
Sadly, due to a short competition period, this game only has 3 short levels, so this game itself is short, but I still feel confident about it.

Really hope this amuses or inspires you. I hope to see people move on than generic Scratch stuff.
