Like Thyme Warp specifically, my interpretation is that he was created by the Gnomes to give the plants a bigger balance in the war, because Gnomuses entire motivation is that he wants the war to remain perfectly balance and go on forever. Something that would also lead into the creation of the Brainium Basher. That’s also why his eyes look like that.
