Mixlas (the developer behind Baby’s Nightmare Circus, BNC Bike Fighter + Tyke and Sons Lumber Co.) has recently committed suicide according to people who knew him in real life.

This was one of those deaths that made me so down that I not only didn’t want to believe it until someone with credit confirmed this was all true, but I’ve also just haven’t interacted a lot with the countless posts I’ve gotten notifications for with talking about this event.

I remember some of Mixlas’ YouTube and GameJolt posts were showing signs of his gradual decline in mental health, so I searched for Mixlas’ name in my photos to see if there were any signs I screenshotted and this made me even more sad.

(This was on January 20th).

Rest in peace Mixlas, I prayed for his friends and family during the making of this post. I really hope everyone around Mixlas or cared about Mixlas in real life or online will be okay. This is gonna leave a huge hole in the community for god knows how long.

Let me leave you all with this. Life is sacred. If you think someone you’re talking to is going through something but won’t tell you, ask them about it. Be gentle when you ask and let them know you can tell them.
