I mean it looks good and all, but goddamn they skipped like 20 years of games to make it here. I was expecting a World adaptation judging by the post credits scene, but I guess they forgot or something because Yoshi is nowhere to be found.

Also lowk I have no idea what the plot of this movie is going to be, I mean I get the basic gist but like there's like a bunch of random details stitched together so I was very confused.

Anyways here's some other observations

• Apparently that dessert area is from oddesy

• No wario :((((((

• Bowser jr sounds like he smokes 20 packs a day and he's the prowler

• Jack Black keeps changing his favorite fucking video game I thought it was rdr 2

• Luigi might be in this one this

Hopefully this one is better than the last one because Mario 1's story was easily the weakest part
