I have terrible news

Hello everyone!

I have awfull news, today my last day before a 2 week vacation
My laptop, together with the laptops of 11 other students have been stolen from our classroom during a 15 minute break. Apparently these 2 men who stole our laptops (worth 1200 euro’s each, 1343 dollars) have been wandering around in our school for 3 days.

Which means ALL of my school work from the last 2 semester are gone (I make a back up after every semester, just not this time, was planning on doing that today) And this includes 90% of the stuff I have made for the new Solitude game…

I am heartbroken, not only have I lost my laptop which has cost me a fortune, but also have I lost all of the work I am proud of and the OST (soundtracks) I have made, I’ve thrown my heart into this project and now, it’s gone..
I have no words left, not only am I sad, but i’m also furious.

I am not sure how to pick up on this project again, after losing so many things
I just hope that my laptop will be found and that hopefully all the files will still be intact… but that chance is very slim.

This is a huge bump in the road, however I will not stop making games whatsoever I will make other games like SO:CT, and SOI will eventually come, when I can motivate myself to remake everything again.

Thank you for your support

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
