I keep seeing this pop up despite me thinking it was pretty obvious considering all of the names are puns but, the names of the characters are:
borkle: the dog, the pun being "bork" is a memey way of making dog sounds
nyankin: the cat, "nyan" being related to nyan cat (not intended) and nyan being a shortened version of "nyanko" , which is one of the japanese words for cat.
mary: the marrionette, the pun being mary sounds like marri in marrionette.
the rat:
freakshows: are the nightmarish distorted desaturated creepier looking versions of the suits and mary. the "pun" being that they're actually mildly unnerving
