As I said, I'm getting them fixed. It's not that easy because most of them exist only outside of Unity (on a built game). If not today, I think if not today, it's a matter of a week. Even if we cross May.
How it goes for now:
Friday: After coming back from my uni around 6 or 7 PM, I spent 9 or 10 hours on just one build making my pc barely usable during that process, it finished at 4:02 AM.
Saturday - Mental problems caused by bugs that existed only in the built version of the game. It was playable though.
Missing models - Pirate Cove (or only the curtain) and the Main Stage Curtain. Got it fixed.
Winning players (players that won the match are shown after the game ends)... They were not showing at all. Turns out the position of the "spawning point" was either wrong in the build, or the objects were not being set properly according to this object. This all worked for months if not a year without any problems in Unity Editor.
Door sounds were gone. Turns out my game volume manager didn't like them and was making the volume 0. Why? Nobody knows. However, I've created a new one using Unity's built in mixer.
The menu needed FPS cap. My GPU went 74*C. With fans being boosted. I don't want to know what the temps were without it. Other than just capping fps maybe I should do something about it, probably caused by some "smoke" particles.
I have added an indicator to one of Golden Freddy's abilities, because aiming with it is painful especially without the indicator. Indicator will stay, but one day I'll try to improve the aiming, maybe use a big hitbox instead of actual arms and stuff hitboxes.
Changed Discord RPC to use display name of a character instead of "enum name" (was easier to do, but instead of "Freddy Fazbear" you were playing as "FreddyFazbear". This got fixed because @DenverDSnail was hurt by it. There you go man.)
Currently awaiting fixes (Sunday):
I have managed to fix winners not being shown, however it is not displayed properly. Maybe I will actually reveal some stuff by showing you this funny image, but well... This will probably still get changed at some point and will look slightly different (other than being broken). The overlap is real.F1 has a glitch and just changes the character being shown every frame (For example Freddy Foxy Freddy Foxy Freddy Foxy) and gives epilepsy.Bonnie has a particle when using his spin (Psychotic Bunny), this particle stood for the winning screen. I disabled itBonnie's Ult could be used while using the Psychotic Bunny or being stunned. Got it fixed, I hope there are no more cases when this can be done but if there are any, it's pretty easy to fix.I need to investigate a Chica Ult situation, as yesterday while playtesting me and @Benkher saw something that I really wasn't hoping to see if you believe me.
Investigate spawnpoints of the players - two players if killed at the same time can and probably will spawn in the same spawnpoint.Voice chat being broken most of the times, this is not the current priority for the beta though. More like for the actual Open Beta or Release
That's all that I remember. I am not too sad about the fact that once again I am probably breaking my promises. However... I didn't directly say this weekend it's coming, because yeah... I wasn't even sure, but also completely didn't expect to play a different game when I build it.
If I'll make it in april, it will be nice. Because I know one person or two that won't let me live if I don't do it, but honestly even if I will be few days late I am not feeling just as bad as I was like a week ago about it. Because I finally was even in a place where I was able to build a game and play it. So I am indeed a bit happy about that fact. Closer than ever.
And to all of you guys, if you want to make sure you'll participate in the testing (supporter beta), be sure to put that charged sticker somewhere :)
I will be scrolling through the entire April and give all the supporters access to the build here on gamejolt (if it's possible, don't remember, or I'll just try to give them some keys... still on gamejolt so be sure to accept me to your friend list WHEN THE TIME COMES.)
That's it for now. Thanks for reading all this to all of you that actually did, and see you in the Supporter Beta, and the Open Beta/Release later.
