Not sure about the legal blindness tho, in one scene Ginger 2 is taking off a stamp by himself and he can see that it's small, complaining that "envelope big stamp small, dumbass greedy, greedy" and he can see the sign language "dialogues" that Ginger 1 made but when his eyes are revealed they're void black
