The little legs on it are centipede legs :) I use bugs for metaphors for things a lot in my (work in progress) series. Centipedes are really cool in my opinion, so I wanted to add centipede legs onto it.
I still have to draw his outfit design, I loveeee designing outfits it's literally a passion of mine lol
Also yes Kiyoko is male :) they're transgender but still like to dress feminine. He's not a real magical girl tho. Hes a god and dresses as a magical girl to seem like a savior that people can trust
