I'm not cancelling it, but i'm a bit upset with myself. (WARNING: LONG POST)


I started FNaB 2 in this month and arround the middle of it i started actually working on the gameplay and now i'm working on the AIs. Everything is working great except for the cameras. I wanted the cameras to be each one a separeted Active object and the characters on the cameras to also be like this. But then i made cam 1 and i thought to myself: Instead of making each character in camera their own active i could use animations in the camera active so if for example: bambi is on cam 1, set it to an animation and if he's not set it to another one (this does NOT mean the cams will be animated. They will be static). I kinda forced myself to make cam 1 like that because of an artistic choise: in this cam, we have bambi and expunged. there is a little stage in the cam and them both are there. But there's also a curtain in this cam and the little bois are behind the curtain. So if i did the "each character an active" method it would be wierder. I could make it work but, idk how to describe it. It would just not work that great to the earlier today me. But then i started making cam 4 (yea i skipped from 1 to 4. When the game releases i think you'll get it) and then the characters weren't behind anything so in theory i could use the "each character an active" method and i decided that not only i would use it but for the next cameras bambi would appear i would also make it like this. But it became a little confusing working in a cam that used a method and another cam that used another. I could work with it but coding wouldn't be "patterned" or smt. So i thought to myself: "Wow, ur stupid. You shouldn't have made cam 1 like that. you could just remove that curtain and ur an idiot you don't deserve to make games and *stuff that i think i don't want to tak about because i might get a little too far when talking to myself about my errors*". So i started to be a little upset with the game and decided to make it the other way, but the i remembered that cam 4 will have a lot of characters in it so it would be too hard and annoying to keep track of every combination possible so in summary: I'll use the "each character an active" method because it makes easier to make combinations in tcams with multiple characters and because i'll feel better with it. I never worked with a game that had 8 characters. The biggest roster of characters i worked with were 4 in a game i made in my phone. I might release it someday and it might get the same treatment as FNaB. Who knows? (though it's unlikely). So yea. I wanted to open up a little bit more myself with you since well, i... how do i say it without making people worry about me having something bigger? Um... I'm not "normal" and i can't remember stuff correctly so even though i do therapy i can't remember exactly what to tell my therapist like, these kind of stuff, also not forgetting i have some social problems but i think i'm opening myself too much. Anyway, i got upset on how i was making the game and found a way to make it how i think i'll feel better. I still am a little bit upset and confused but i'll try my best at least to make that thing work. Oh, and also i'll be more open about the game now. In my mind i thought "The game is new. It's not even a month old so i gotta be misterious about how it is and how stuff is happening and the gameplay and everything" but then i saw that i don't want to do this anymore and i gotta show you all how it's happening. Not too much because i don't want to spoil the whole thing but i'll try to update you more. Also today and tomorrow are my last days without school so development will be slowed down but whagt am i gonna do, right? Anyway, that was all i wanted to say. See'ya.
