Howdy everyone, it's me ArcH1ve
First, I have to thank you all for the 1000 followers on my profile, you guys are seriously amazing. Time to make a few announcements:
______________________________________________________
I'm NOW a Game Jolt Creator
No, the title isn't a joke. I'm indeed a GJ creator now and you all can support my work and my projects.
You might already know how, but I'll explain it again for the newbies:
Once you complete a daily quest you will get 1 Charge orb;
When you get 7 Charges orbs you can charge up 1 sticker and you can put that sticker in any of my posts.
As a reward you will be getting a Faztastic: Faz Band Sticker pack!!! Containing, so a far, 3 amazing stickers for you to collect.
I've been working on new stickers and even an album post to put them on. "Premium" content is still under study, to see what will be make in terms of background, frames and exclusive stickers
Commissions are coming soon
This is also something I've been meaning to announce for a while, commissions will be arriving soon, still sorting better prices, so they can be viable for me and y'all. I might begin with 3 to 4 slots due to college schedules. Where will be the money going well into the next topic...
Rebrand Funding!?
I've been studying this option for a while now. I've seen some games don't progress or being outright canceled due to a multitude of factors, one of those reasons being the lack of funding.
This path is still under study as I'm doing a proper calculations to see how much I would need to pay my team fairly.
I've thought on many ideas before
Kofi's or patreon aren't an option as my OG projects don't have much work done yet. Plus it's illegal to profit of FNaF cuz it isn't mine franchise it's Scott's. And the last thing I need is a Lawsuit in my mailbox
Some people asking me sometimes why not apply to the fanverse, maybe Scott will accept your game and you will have funding.
I love the optimism, but... let's have an actual heart-to-heart
I don't believe we would get in the initiative, not just cuz I doubt Scott would accept entries after what happened with the fanverse already, but there are personal reasons why I don't think Rebrand wouldn't fit in.
1st: I fear Rebrand might be called "just another FNaF remake"
I know it sounds stupid, but when you put the 2 games side by side Rebrand is a reinterpretation of FNaF 1, with their own story and new characters, but still very similar to the OG.
PS: I also fear that it would be compared to Plus, because we do have a similar idea, a reimagined of the OG.
2nd: Some Team members are young
A requirement to join the initiative is to be 18 years old or above, and like many fangames in the community people are on the 16 to 17 age gap, in Rebrand is no exception. I don't want to remove this team member just to fit in, I few I'd be doing something wrong.
3rd: I don't wanna hold back on the horror
Many mascot horror games/titles are holding back the horror and graphic stuff due to their increasing younger audience. I do like the genre getting a bigger reach, but I don't feel like games should tone it down just cuz of it.
I won't spoil too much here, but Rebrand will have swears and blood and I wouldn't want to hold on just make it more child-friendly.
Poppy Chapter 3 was one game that reinforced my decision, because it actually combined a lot of stuff I wanted to see in the mascot horror space, that nowadays studios are holding back on it.
That... was a lot, hope I didn't get you bored reading my venting, but I needed to let that out now, so I didn't have that stuck later.
Once again thx for the 1k, I'll see you guys around and Have a Faztastic day
Arc Out
