I get they wanted to do something different with the show, but they kill off all the best characters and leave us with plot armour potato sacks or (best boy) Daryl. Rosita deserved to raise her daughter, not to get bit off camera during a badass scene.

It literally turned from a mostly realistic show about character relationships and dynamics while facing the actual horror of the zombie apocalypse to "badass" characters with surface level development stretched out as much as possible.

Connie and Daryl was the no1 relationship, platonic or romantic, that I wanted to see develop. Instead they wrote her out for a good chunk of the plot and when she came back, she was given a story away from Daryl. WTF.

Carol is used to advance the plot way more than she realistically should. They have her take down multiple groups of people all by herself, but when it comes to the common wealth she doesn't do a lot. Daryl takes the brunt of the fight during the arc. I liked her flaw during the whisper arc. The fact she gets hellbent on revenge, and uses Negan to get what she wants is a really good twist.
