Addressing the misconception
For those who've said it, and those who haven't, Project Knightsopod isn't a Hollow Knight knockoff; it's something different and plays differently than Hollow Knight. However, I do see why you're saying this — both games are bug RPGs... And other reasons I can't think of. However, it is relatively inspired by that game. Project Knightsopod is also inspired by the works of Castle Crashers and D&D, via the H&S style gameplay, and the ability to create your own character from a variety of classes and species, plus a self-driven campaign — making you both the *Bugeon* Master and the Bug(s). Get it? There's also the twelve base classes from D&D as this game's class selection, at least for now, unless I wanna keep it like that.
Quick detour here: While researching, I learned that insectoids is a term for anthropomorphic bugs. So, turns out, you're actually playing as insectoids in this game! Ha!
Anyways, because of the misconception, there will be a planned Hollow Knight easter egg — ether in the form of a NPC, boss, or maybe even a unique playable character. Now then, onto some other stuff!
Some other stuff
Project name inspiration
The project name for this game, Project Knightsopod, is directly inspired by a drawing of a Knightsopod (Knight Isopod) I made in January! Here it is below:

Oh, wait, my bad. I actually meant "Knight-sopod", according to what I wrote to the right of the sketch. Apologies. And, uh, yes, the note below is true; I would be an isopod if I ever were a furry. I mean, what do you think ARI is? /silly
FYI, this is considered the first piece of concept art for the game, alongside the second concept art piece — showcasing the map of Hinterhof, the mainland — which is currently a work in progress, so stay tuned for that!
I might be becoming a composer!?
True statement by the way. I am indeed becoming a composer, or at least trying to be. Most of my life, I've had no interest in music or composing. That is until recently, when I started experimenting with jummb.us (JummBox) and paandorasbox.github.io (Paandora's Box), more so JummBox. But two measly websites aren't enough for me to compose! No! I need to understand basic music theory, too!
Well then, that's all for today! I'm gonna go skedaddle and study music theory for a good portion of the rest of my day! So until then, Bugeon Masters!
Now that I think about it, I think I just thought of a proper game name...
