Take in account that the same "body" would go for Frisk and possibly stay like it for the rest of the comic and game.
Two images cuz I'm not sure about 4 pixels (literally).
I think the chubby one just looks more natural to me because the entire sprite is small and seems blocky.
Although it had to be that way to because it's a small sprite, so I wonder what you like more?
One thing has caught my attention, Sans could be either: a) firing up Frisk to kill Asgore
b) really believing Asgore would destroy humanity with 7 souls
c) wanting Frisk to actually give up on fighting Asgore and stay in The Underground (manipulation)
Honestly, I'm quite happy about this, it actually looked quite good.
Quite nice.
I hope someday I really make this project a game or something because as a comic I can't show the idea fully, there is just SOOO much to it...
