I'm trying to make an artificial intelligence like the enemies of Hotline Miami ...

I'm trying to make a game similar to the Hotline Miami, just to learn GDscript, but ...

This is happening

the red pixels are walls, but the enemies are getting to see the player through the walls and also trying to chase the player

I would like the enemies to just start chasing the player when he was in front of him

if someone can help me fix this little mistake, I will be very grateful!
