I RETURN with what I've been doing...

introducing: our shiny new 3rd scene style, inspired by the bust portraits seen in mad father since I've been playing that recently

I still have a list of characters to draw but here's a good look at it (read more)


OKAY HEY UH if youve watched me struggle like uhh ill patch ill patch game i swear SOOORRRYYY this is what's taking so long as i integrate this new style, I'm still working on blending their shoulders out and such shh, ms. thing is my biggest issue but if i just make her sprite bigger it might blend in behind oz in most scenes where they talk 1 on 1

like I said in that post a few days ago, these will be used in replacement of me drawing EVERY single time characters are speaking more seriously and I can do a lot more with their faces than the limits of the small sprites

THE VERDICT: I LOVE THIS??? I'm still using the million standing sprites for several character scenes ofc and more relaxed dialogue but this is peak for bringing more to a scene i think. grins horribly.

I'm working on putting this style of willy and clarisse into ch1 of tboma right now, ill show how that goes in a bit

I think remaking the sprite system was still one of the best decisions I ever made old vs new above

I still use those old sprites and Im really glad I made them because it helped me design outfits and important traits of each design but GODDDD
