Since i just arrived at Colorado a few hours ago, my family and I went to the Stanley Hotel for dinner (that one very famous hotel) and while we were having dinner there, i had to go to the restroom. So of course, i got out of my seat and went there. There was a short line so i waited in it for a bit. Then out of nowhere, this lady who’s wearing way too much makeup walks up to me. She has her phone in her hand holding up near her mouth yelling into it “THE ANSWER IS NO!!!”. She was talking to someone over the phone about getting a Nintendo console. Then she holds the phone up to me and says, “TELL THIS [extremely bad swear word] THAT THE ANSWER IS NO!!!” And what’s on her phone? A child who looks like he’s about eight years old. I felt so bad for this kid that i just said into her phone, “Hey little buddy! How are you?” Then she yells again at me “TELL HIM THE ANSWER IS NO!!!” At this point i was getting kind of scared so i just said “Your mom’s kinda scaring me, kid!” Then she walks off clearly agitated. It took me a good twenty minutes to recover especially because im extremely introverted.
…
i still do not know what i learned from this experience.
