I was minding my business, building part 3 of chapter 1 in another phone when I realized I hadn't downloaded a sfx I added in the level from my main device.

So I decided to download the sfx by copying LD:F then uploading that copy to the gd servers although it would be unlisted.

But it didn't work, instead I got the error screen when the game can't upload your level to the servers, and I immediately panicked

There was something in LD:F that was broken, though I didn't know that and thought that the entire level was broken

I tried saving and of course, this is gd servers we're talking about, it took a long time — only for me to get another error message

Restarted the phone, it finally saved and so I refreshed my login, tried to upload the copy as unlisted again, and it still didn't work. I thought it would solve the problem.

I thought: "Okay, maybe I need to delete something in the level," and yep, I was right.

You know what I had to delete?

7. Fucking. Song. Triggers.

Diabolical. I know. Why were they causing this issue? My guess is that the game tried to find any trigger that would activate the song triggers (since I didn't actually add any that would activate them and left them as spawn triggered instead of touch triggered) and the level freaked out when it couldn't find any

After that I could actually upload the level. I love this game's code so much.

What a way to start halloween. Scared the shit out of me.
