This time around it’s way easier to make a battle system thanks to the fact that i know much more about the script calls and the hud maker by SumRndmDde has been a godsend in doing this.
im sorry that the release is taking too long, it’s just that the actual battle system provided with the engine is screwing up thanks to the plugins involved. so i have to make my own.
also, this time around im using party member stats to calculate the math involved. not everything is being used, but for now the basics are. this includes: defence, attack, MP, Max MP, HP, and Max HP.
the allies will be controlled by ai like i intended with the first version of the map based battle system. now that i have a much better understanding of what i am doing i can do this properly.
this time, im putting all attacks that can be used into the battle at once, this way it is much quicker to create battles. (and yes, they will be based on class and elemental group)
