It's been a while since I've shown something new, so here is some screenshots of the latest version of the gameplay. This project is really coming along nicely and I'm very excited to release a playable demo for you soon.
Here's a sneak peak of what I've been working on lately... Some things need some work including mouse aim but I thought I'd show you what I have so far. As you may tell as well, this has been made in scratch. In the future I'll be making it in java too.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
