because see its been an internal joke (meaning between me and. lux) that i'll die at 15 cause a classmate from 5th grade said so and its like a tame version of that fucked up prophecy kakfa got from his dad rite

i think the story might be like

teenage mc runs away on their 15th birthday like kafka to avoid their stupid little prophecy but this one's because they think running away from safety'll actually mean they'll be safe idk how to explain it

its like- they cant trust the safety of their own home cause thats kinda where dangerous things lurk (see: the sleeping beauty thingy i just mentioned)

in the end they die though butthey learned to accept it
