the idea is that after surviving ares for long enough you suddenly run into her, and then a red gas like substance leaks from her mouth as she stands there lifeless.
suddenly your body decomposes and you have to try and make it to the end before time runs out and you die of poison.
unfortunately even if you make it to the end before time runs out, you will still be killed.
