Im worried for the everdrive because i own a bootleg mega drive and i might tell that it wont work

And no i wont get the x3 which was cheaper than the x5 because i need to restart it to save and that could be annoying when i play sonic 3 and conic 3 and other games with the save feature
Also i can play non hacked version of the games inside the console itself (most of them remove the sega logo, most of them immediately starts at a random level without the title screen)
Edit: the bootleg mega drive model 1 is called the gamestar

The routine to get the tail sprites was removed as a result
Here i changed the head to that of the walking head since the original happened to be a leftover from an early build (no im not joking)
