for those of you who are in my server or follow me on youtube, you'll already know what i have to say, and i will link my yt community post after this incase you wanna read more about what my plans for the future are.

but due to some events that have occurred within the hn community recently, ive made the decision to distance myself and my community as far from it as possible. with that, im limiting how much development info i reveal about hnr. that is to say, hnr will mostly be developed behind closed doors, and for the most part the only time ill talk about it publicly is when a trailer or devlog drops, or if a playable build gets released.

ive never considered myself a member of the hn community, but i no longer wish to have any association with the hello neighbor community in any capacity.

you might ask, "why work on a hn fangame if you don't wanna be associated with the hn community?" because i want to finish what i started. i never asked for this game to get as popular as it did. i never asked to be dragged into the hn community and put on a pedestal. all i wanted was to make my own version of a game i always wanted but never got. im finishing hnr for myself. not for the hn community.

this will likely be the last gamejolt post for the foreseeable future. hnr will still be worked on, and rewritten will still be playable at some point in the near future. but i dont want the spotlight from the hn community to be on me or my game.

re uvmapped all the background houses so they use hn textures which makes them fit the game a bit more. both the roof and the walls can be changed. i was originally gonna remodel all of them which i still might do at some point. but for now im happy.

bad news guys, the neighbor lost his job so this will be his house next update

(as a sidenote i have personal beef with whoever did the original uv mapping for this house)

was testing out different lightings for fun and im wondering... which of these do we like the best? (5 different lightings with two different angles each so you can compare)

these are not final, im just tryna figure out which direction i should go in

updated the logo to be a bit darker to fit with the moody atmposphere of the game, what do we think? (old on the right)
