For the last week or so, an attacker has been targeting GM Server, frequently causing outages, and causing players to get disconnected rather often when playing online

Its very unfortunate people feel the need to do such things, but I'm taking a few steps to ensure this doesn't hinder your experience while playing.

I've been given permission to make the game beatable in offline mode to help remedy this. I wont guarantee it'll be in the very next update, but its high on our priority list

New /smallname command to reduce name sizes and free up screen space

Overhead chat, which repeats anything you say in the global chat over your head. So you don't have to glance at chat to see if your friends are talking!
