As you can see, this is an important update.
But yes, due to some issues players have been having that I can’t exactly do much about in RPG Maker VX Ace, I decided there were two ways to fix it.
Either changing the pixel movement script I was using, which would require taking a look at each and every little event in the DEMO.
Or scrap the VX Ace Version all together and port it over to MV.
And by the title of the update, you know which option I chose.
So yes, this game will now be running on RPG Maker MV, but what does that mean?
First off, it means once I’ve caught up development to where the DEMO ends, I will have to upload a new DEMO.
But it also give me the opportunity to add features and changes I was unable to in the VX Ace version.
Which includes, but is not limited to…
Additional Party Members. The Actual Undertale Battle System (I Decided against this, however it won’t be the exact same battle system in the current Demo~~
Better Collision detection.
Tiles that actually don’t look wonky.
And of course, support for the fan game for Mac OS X, Android & iOS (at some point), and an actual web browser version if you don’t care to download the game.
So wish me luck as I venture onto the magical world of working with RPG Maker MV.
